Welcome to the University of Miami Cyber2 Certificate Program

In recent years, demand for Cyber Security Defense and Offense professionals, and Ethical Hackers has surged, and there are not enough skilled workers to fill all the open positions in the field. There are currently over one million unfilled jobs in Cyber Security around the world – and that number is growing fast.

Our goal is to build the Cyber workforce the US needs to keep our businesses, government, and personal information safe from criminal hackers. The goal of this course is to prepare you, whether you have some basic technical knowledge or none, to join the workforce as a certified Cyber Security and Pen Testing expert. We consulted industry thought leaders and HR managers to pinpoint the gaps in Cyber skills, knowledge, and the certifications that make Cyber Professionals stand out to top employers. Then, we designed a curriculum that meets and exceeds their demands.
